नैनीताल:::- चीफ एग्जीक्यूटिव ऑफिसर, सेक्रेटरी, एनसीबी छावनी परिषद में शनिवार को पत्रकार वार्ता हुई। प्रेस वार्ता में कहा कि नगरपालिका ने अनाधिकृत रूप से छावनी परिषद की भूमि पर टेंडर किया है। जब टेंडर प्रक्रिया चल रही थी तो छावनी परिषद ने बैठक के माध्यम से कहा था कि जब भी पालिका टेंडर करेगी तो छावनी परिषद को बताएगी ताकि छावनी परिषद के हिस्से में जो भूमि आ रही है उसका शेयर छावनी परिषद को जमा कर सकें। कहा की इस पर साल भर से वार्ता चल रही थी और जब टेंडर निकाला था तो छावनी परिषद ने पालिका को बताया था कि एक तिहाई शेयर पालिका छावनी को देंगे लेकिन पालिका की ओर से इस पर कोई कार्रवाही नहीं की गई। जिसके बाद छावनी परिषद की बोर्ड बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया कि प्राणी उद्यान जू जाने वाले मार्ग पर छावनी स्थायित्व और सुधार शुल्क लिया जाएगा। अगर पालिका टेंडर का एक तिहाई हिस्सा देती है तो छावनी परिषद की ओर से शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा। कहा कि जिस प्रकार छावनी पालिका की भूमि पर टेंडर नहीं कर सकती उसी प्रकार पालिका भी छावनी परिषद की भूमि पर टेंडर नहीं कर सकती है। बताया कि इस संबंध में एडीएम और एडीएम की मध्यस्तता में बैठक हुई थी जिसमें उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि छावनी का जो शेयर होगा वह दिया जाएगा।
इस दौरान छावनी परिषद के सीईओ वरुण कुमार ने कहा कि नगरपालिका परिषद को सोमवार 3 बजे तक का समय दिया गया है। अगर इस संबंध में पालिका की ओर से कोई निर्णय नहीं लिया गया तो छावनी परिषद अपने स्तर से शुल्क वसूलेगा। बताया की नैनीताल के स्थानीय निवासियों को छोड़कर अन्य व्यवसायिक वाहनों और बाहरी वाहनों से शुल्क वसूला जाएगा। नगर के स्थानीय लोग अपना कोई भी आईडी प्रूफ दिखाएंगे उसके बाद ही उन्हें एंट्री दी जाएगी।
